Brendan Steele had difficulties again last week at The Honda Classic in Florida.
The native Idyllwilder could manage only a 12-over-par 75-77—152 after two days of play. He hit 61 percent of the fairways and 67 percent of the greens, but the worst culprit was his putter, which gave up 5.790 strokes to the field.
The good news is that Brendan’s regular caddy, Christian Donald, is back on his bag after a lengthy paternity-leave absence.
Brendan will play again this week in the $9.1 million Arnold Palmer Invitational at the Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando, Florida. He will tee off Thursday at 4:54 a.m. PST and Friday at 9:44 a.m. PST playing both days with Michael Kim and Hideki Matsuyama. You may follow his shot-by-shot play on the PGA Tour’s website or cell phone app.
