Native Idyllwilder Brendan Steele will join with Englishman Luke Donald in the team competition at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans this week in Avondale, Louisiana. Luke Donald is the younger brother (by six years) of Brendan’s regular caddie, Christian Donald.
Luke currently is ranked 176th on the FedExCup List and 516th on the Official World Golf Ranking, on which Brendan is ranked 155th and 167th, respectively.
Brendan and Luke will tee off Thursday at 5:26 a.m. PDT and Friday at 10:57 p.m. PDT. The format will be fourball play (better ball) on Thursday and Saturday, with Friday and Sunday competition being foursome play (alternate shot).
