Brendan Steele’s good fortune in the 2023 PGA Tour season has not begun. He was cut this last week at the Sanderson Farms Championship in Jackson, Mississippi.

The Idyllwild native dropped from 110th to 121st in this new season’s Official World Golf Rankings. He as yet has no ranking on the 2023 FedExCup list, and has not registered to play in this week’s tournament in Las Vegas.
