Brendan Steele will compete this week in the $7.9 million Sony Open in Hawaii on the Waialae Country Club course in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is the 25th year the tournament has been sponsored by Sony. Each year, all proceeds go to Friends of Hawaii Charities, serving women, children, youth and impoverished persons in the islands.

Two years ago, Brendan finished tied for fourth place at the Sony, and three years ago he finished alone in second. Brendan currently stands 123rd on the PGA Tour’s early FedExCup Standings and is ranked 120th in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Tee times were not available by press time.

The Sony Open will be telecast on the Golf Channel, with NBC joining in on the weekend. You can follow Brendan shot-for-shot with TOURCast on the pgatour.com website or with the PGA Tour cellphone app.
