Brendan Steele posted a 1-over-par 71-69-74-71 — 285 in the Genesis Open on the Riviera Country Club course in Pacific Palisades, tying for 43rd place.
The Idyllwild native’s drives averaged 296 yards while finding 55% of the fairways. Brendan hit 52% of the greens in regulation.
His putter pretty much performed even with the field.
Brendan still ranks 88th in the FedExCup points list. He’s now 89th on the Official World Golf Ranking.
He is taking this week off but will be playing the Arnold Palmer Invitational next week and currently plans to play the Honda tournament after that.
