Brendan Steele posted a 3-over-par 73-68-74-68 — 283 at The Open Championship in Sandwich, Kent, England last week to finish tied for 67th place.
The Idyllwild native posted 12 birdies against 11 bogeys and a double.
Brendan currently stands in 88th place on the FedExCup points list, and he now is ranked 95th on the Official World Golf Rankings.
Brendan is expected to take this week and next week off before playing in the Barracuda Championship in Truckee, California, Thursday, Aug. 5. The Barracuda uses modified Stableford scoring, which rewards aggressive play.
