Coming off a fine T5 finish in Mexico in his very first LIV event, Brendan Steele tied for the win at the Gallery Golf Club course outside Tucson, Arizona, last week after three days of regulation play. Then, following a four-way playoff, he finished tied for second, earning $1,558,333 in official prize money.

The Idyllwild native put together rounds of 69-65-70 — 204 over the three-day tournament.

Brendan has now won nearly as much in his first two tournaments in the LIV Golf League as he won in the 23 tournaments of his last full season on the PGA Tour — and that does not include team prize winnings.

Brendan has led all three of his HiFlyers teammates in both of the tournaments he has played on the LIV Golf tour thus far.

There is no LIV tournament this week, but B will tee it up next week on the “Crooked Cat” course at Orange County National in Orlando, Florida. You can watch the action live Saturday and Sunday on KTLA channel 5, the CW affiliate in Los Angeles, and all three days using the LIV+ app.
