The Hemet Unified School District board meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, at Idyllwild School, will include a public hearing. The subject will be whether each pupil in the district has been provided with a standards-aligned textbook or basic instructional material. Idyllwild Fire responded to a workshop fire in Fern Valley at Scenic Drive and Circle Way. Crews were able to get the fire under control before it spread to nearby vegetation. CHP is on scene to control traffic. Town Crier will update this post as information becomes available.
