Beverly June Reed, 73, of Hemet, died Saturday, March 2, 2002 at Western Medical Center in Anaheim.

She was born April 19, 1928, in Inglewood.

Mrs. Reed had been a secretary for 14 years, 10 of which were for Southern California Edison in Redondo Beach.

She had lived in Hemet four years prior to her death and was a former Idyllwild resident for 35 years.

A chapel service was held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 8 at Harford Funeral Home Chapel in Hemet. Burial followed at 2:15 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside. Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 7 at Harford Funeral Home Chapel.

She is survived by a daughter, Chris Marie Holloway of Portland, Ore.; five sons, Robert Caldon of Long Beach, Bill and Rob Caldon of Idyllwild, Dan Caldon of San Luis Obispo and William Reed of Oregon; a brother, William E. Beavers of Laguna Hills; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
