Myron “Mel” Delos Fowler Jr., 65, of Idyllwild, died of pulmonary embolism Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002 at Hemet Valley Medical Center.

Mr. Fowler was born in 1937 in San Diego.

He was an aerospace supervisor and had belonged to the Chaparral Motorcycle Club and the Casita Trailer Club.

A memorial service was to be held Tuesday, Dec. 17 at Chapel in the Pines with the Rev. Mike Laramie officiating.

Mr. Fowler is survived by his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Fowler; a son, Michael D. Fowler of Lake Elsinore; three daughters, Brenda K. Lee of Sioux City, Iowa, and Robin Fowler and Jill Fowler, both of Garden Grove; and two grandchildren, Morgan and Paul Fowler.
