Lee Forese
Lee Forese of Idyllwild will forever be in our hearts. Lee passed away Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, in Rancho Mirage, after battling sarcoma for two years, with her life partner, Lindsay, and sister Francesca by her side.

She was born Oct. 8, 1949, in the Bronx, New York. Lee lived in Topanga Canyon, Cornell, Sugarloaf and Venice Beach before moving to Idyllwild.

Lee was an entrepeneur by nature and an artist, decorator and professional organizer. Lee had recently shown her art at Dore’s Mountain Art Garden on Labor Day weekend.

Lee loved to travel and see new places. Lee was a beautiful, kind and loving person who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. We will miss her wit, her wisdom, her grace, her kindness and her generosity.

Lee was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Forese, and father, Rocco Forese.

Lee is survived by her life partner, Lindsay, of Idyllwild; sister Francesca Lemus-Forese and nephew Koa Forese-Benedict, both of Santa Fe, N.M., and brother John Forese of Las Vegas, Nev.

Lee’s wishes were to be cremated and have her ashes scattered in Garner Valley near Lake Hemet.

In lieu of flowers, Lee would have liked donations be made to whatever cause is dear to your heart.
