Town Hall Sports Coordinator Jeremy Teeguarden reported on Town Hall Adult volleyball for the week of Jan. 16.
Monday night’s volleyball game was between Idyllwild Garage and Idyllwild Inn. The match was a battle for first place in the early part of the season. Paula Shirley and Art Torrez did a great job all match setting up their teamates. The match went back and forth and eventually went to a fifth game. In the end the Garage won the match 16-25, 26-24, 21-25, 25-17, 15-12.
Tuesday nights volleyball game was between Silver Pines and Pacific Slope. Lance Fogle and Noah Whitney played great for their teams. Both teams played well but Silver Pines was too much this night as they went on to win in three games 25-21, 25-14, 25-20.
Wednesday nights volleyball game was between Idyllwild Chevron and Forest Lumber. Forest Lumber came out hot wining the first game. Tyla Friemoth and Michelle Brower did a great job setting all night. Chevron settled down and came back to win the next three games and the match in four games 18-25, 25-20, 25-16, 25-21.
Thursday nights volleyball game was between Silver Pines and Idyllwild Inn. Idyllwild Inn played short handed but they came out hot winning the first game. Jason Sonnier hit great for the Inn and Julie Fogle played an all around outstanding match for Silver Pines. Silver Pines got it together and went on to win the next three games 10-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-19.
