James Janopoulos passed away at home on the evening of Sept. 20, 2012, after a long battle with multiple myeloma.

Jim is survived by his wife Pam and his seven children: his son Robert, and daughters Sheila, Barbara, Stephanie, Kathleen, Mary and Kimber.

Jim was a two-decades-long member of the Idyllwild Rotary. The “Jim and Pam Janopoulos” tile, decorated with a horse, adorns the kitchen of the Idyllwild Town Hall Park.

He will be remembered for his generosity of spirit and unconditional love.
