obitMichael Schultz, 67, of Idyllwild, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2014.

Michael was born Jan. 14, 1947, in Burbank but grew up mainly in Carlsbad.

Michael was a very proud Marine. He enlisted in February 1964 at age 17 and volunteered for three tours in Vietnam.

His loved ones have planned a day of remembrance for Saturday, Oct. 11 at American Legion Post 800.

He is survived by his wife, Vikki, who wishes to thank all the members of Post 800 for the kind words and deeds they have extended since Michael’s passing.
