Obituary
Pastor Kristeen Bandelin, Th.D.
1957-2015

obit-bandellnThe Body of Shiloh Christian Ministries joins other Idyllwild residents to mourn the loss of our beloved and anointed Pastor, Wife, Mother, Daughter and dear friend to so many.

Kristeen was born in Attelboro, Massachusetts, on July 29, 1957, the fourth of eight siblings. She left for her eternal rest Monday, July 27, 2015, just two days before her 58th birthday and two days after the birth of her ninth grandchild. Family and friends were at her bedside in her home.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Wade G. Bandelin; three children, Teresa (John) Wagner, Vanessa (Dennis) Garcia, Josiah (Joanna) Bandelin; mother-in-law Lois Bandelin and family Gene and Maureen Bandelin, Mark Bandelin, Vanna and Craig McCoy, Rachel and Marc Bennett; Mother and Stepdad Harriet and Frank Thompson; one sister, Roberta (Tom) Helvey; six brothers, Raymond Gray, Gary (Pam) Gray, Brad (Tamara) Gray, Scott (Emily) Gray, Mark (Elsa) Gray, Todd Gray; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at the Crossroads 243 Church in Mountain Center. There will not be a viewing of remains. Kristeen has donated her body to medical research. Her last unselfish desire was that someone else could benefit from this research.

The passing of this beautiful woman leaves a large void, but the legacy she has left lives on. May everyone who reads this find solace in the saving knowledge of Kristeen’s Savior, Jesus Christ, so that they, too, may join her in eternity.
