Philip Scott “Scott” Scheid, 69, went to heaven on Sunday, April 24, 2016, after battling pancreatic cancer for 22 months.

He was born to Philip and B.J. Scheid on June 24, 1946, in Madison, Wisconsin.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Hazel Burnside Scheid, and five siblings: sisters Suzie, Pam and Barb, and brothers Rick and Bruce.

He was an avid reader who loved to write and play songs on his guitars, care for his wife and watch college basketball. He had several jobs after being honorably discharged from the Army in March 1969.

His last job for several years was at South Bay Cable Company as shipping manager in Idyllwild. Services were held Monday, May 9 at Riverside National Cemetery.
