What happened to the Highlander bagpipes at this year’s Independence Day Parade?
While we truly appreciate all the hard work and organization it takes to put on the parade, and we in no way mean to detract from all of that, we specifically come to the Idyllwild Fourth of July parade to see all the entries and so look forward to the bagpipers.
We are part-timers on the Hill with a long family history of spending summers here. (Tim’s family has owned a cabin here since 1949.)
Please bring back the bagpipes in 2017. No bagpiper is akin to sitting down to a gourmet Italian feast and forgetting the wine.
