Last week in Days of Our Nine Lives, ARF dogs were letting the cats know that they were just a adoptable as any feline.
Leia: There’s a winner for last month’s Most Adoptable Feline award! Binky! Binky has a forever family!
Bobbie: No surprise. Even I have to admit she’s a great cat.
Olivia: And did you hear that we have another ARF dog?
Bobbie: So, what’s the story with this dog?
Olivia: She’s a big, white, happy girl - a Samoyed named Koda. And she has the most stunning eyes.
Pompeii: She told me she’ll need to be a member of a forever family
who lives in a cooler climate. She doesn’t do well in the heat. I’m guessing it’s because of that big, white fur coat she’s wearing.
Tinkerbell: Pompeii, Pirate, and I met her last Saturday. She just wanted to play with us.
Pirate: And every other dog she encountered!
Pompeii: Yeah, she really likes dogs, but she loves humans, too.
Carly: But I heard she’ll chase us felines.
Tinkerbell: True, so I think her forever family should probably be feline-free.
Pompeii: But we three little dogs would be great with a feline sister or brother.
Pirate: Every human was so impressed with Koda. Upon request she sits and will shake paws, especially for a treat.
Leia: When will we meet Koda?
Pirate: I think it will be soon, however it’ll be a greeting on either side of a window!
Carly: Whew! I’m not certain I want to play a game of chase with a Samoyed!
