Idyllwild gives to high school seniors

The Idyllwild community stepped up again to generously donate monies to the Idyllwild Scholarship Fund (ISF). Nine high school seniors, who submitted applications and were interviewed, received a total of $47,000 to help them with their college educations.

Tuesday night, May 17, a reception was held at the Idyllwild Library for the scholarship recipients, their families and friends. A ceremony was conducted to present awards and congratulations to the students.

The ISF Committee appreciates all individuals who donated to the fund with special recognition to the following community organizations: American Legion Auxiliary, Community Church Bashford Family Scholarships, Idyllwild Community Fund, Idyllwild Association of Realtors, Mountain High Escrow, P.E.O., Rotary Club, Rotary Anns and Soroptimists.
