Dinner with the President is a special evening honoring the Associates’ Circle donors: President, Academy and Scholarship members.
The evening featured a wine tasting and pairing event donated by Frey Winery of Redwood City in Mendocino County. The winery’s host, Richard Cooper, presented a wide array of organic wines. Dinner was prepared by Chris Stroud and his team of Sage Dining and Idyllwild Arts. Entertainment was provided by Idyllwild’s own Scatlish.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of a $10,000 check to IAF President Pamela Jordan. The gift was made honoring longtime friend Madgel Friedman, mother of Associates member Dena Van Slyke. The gift will be part of the Scholarship Fund of Idyllwild Arts Academy and Summer Program.
The dinner was held at Jordan and husband Christopher Scott’s home.
The Associates, established in 1968, have donated over $2.5 million to Idyllwild Arts over the last 54 years.
