Nancy Ann Brown of Idyllwild, passed away Thursday, Jan. 15, at Manor Care in Hemet from cancer. She was 71.

Private family services were held recently with Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet handling cremation arrangements.

Ms. Brown was born Feb. 2, 1926, in Blytheville, Ark. She was a homemaker and had lived in Idyllwild with her daughter, Debbie Rizor, for the past year. Prior to that, she lived in Hemet for 10 years. Mrs. Rizor said her mother really enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Along with Mrs. Rizor, she is survived by another daughter, Cynthia Hartstein of Orange; a son, Donald Brown of Moreno Valley; a brother, William Singery of Hemet; eight grandchildren, Jim, Dawn Marie and Tim-othy Rizor of Idyllwild, Kelly, Hannah and Dylan Brown of Moreno Valley and Robert and Philip Hartstein of Orange; and a great-grandchild, Alden Rizor of Idyllwild.
