Merry K. Womack
1937-2015

Merry K. Womack, 78, of Weirsdale, Florida, and several years in Pine Cove, passed away with her husband, Rich Womack, Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015 in Weirsdale, Florida.

Funeral service was held at St Timothy’s Catholic Church, Lady Lake, Florida, at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, with celebration of life at Love’s Landing at 11 a.m.

Beyer’s Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Merry K. was born in Los Angeles, California, to Edwarda and Jack Trimble on April 23, 1937.  She graduated from Palm Springs High School in 1956.

She was an entrepreneur and private pilot for more than 40 years. She enjoyed all types of outdoor activities, her family and creating art.

Merry K. is survived by her children, James, John, Trasea Womack and Dawn Deshefy; cousin Dr. Virginia Trimble; grandchildren Meritt Hutchison, Brandon, Chandler, Sara and Joshua Womack and Matthew Deshefy; great-granddaughter Stellen Hutchison; and nieces D’Aun Rowell, Stephanie Phillips, Debra Shumate, Chris Stroud, Karen Abrahamson, Laura Mullinax and Lisa Robnett.

She was preceded in death by her parents and loving sister, Joan McGahey. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the community of Love’s Landing.
