Denise McClure passed away at home on Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, surrounded by her loving husband, son and daughter.

Denise was a teacher in the Hemet Unified School District for 25 years. She taught at Hamilton Elementary, Idyllwild Elementary and Bautista Creek Elementary schools. She loved being a career educator and had a positive impact on the lives of countless families, students and colleagues.

Denise is survived by her husband of 31 years, Eddie McClure; son, Christopher McClure; daughter, Heather McClure; daughter-in-law, Noele McClure; grandson, Kayden McClure; mother, Vivian Rizzotto; sister and brother-in-law, Michele and Mike Naval; mother-in-law, Dodie Hendrickson, as well as an uncle, aunts, sister-in-law, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 in the sanctuary of the Idyllwild Community Presbyterian Church, 54400 North Circle Drive, Idyllwild.
