Skylir Leeland Perry Selkirk

Skylir Leeland Perry Selkirk entered into this world at 7:43 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012. He was 28 weeks along, weighing 1 pound, 14 ounces, and was 12-1/4 inches long. He became our guardian angel on July 24, 2012, at 1:30 a.m.

 

Skylir was the son of Nicholas and Brandi Selkirk.

He is deeply loved by his four siblings, Dilyn, Destinee, Lance and Jayden, his grandparents, Gary and Kathy Congelliere, Judi Selkirk; his aunts and uncles, Candice and Mark Samano, and Natalie and Les Huffman; cousins Alexis and Aireana Samano, Luke and Conner Huffman; and great-grandparents Carol Caillie and Jim Jean.

During his short time on Earth, he touched many lives and was deeply loved by family and friends. The parents have been so touched by the abundant amount of support from local community in Idyllwild, their family and their friends.

The funeral services will be held at Chapel in the Pines Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at 4 p.m.

His precious life was a brief gift to us, but he has touched our hearts forever.
