Editor:

In response to your column in the July 27 paper, I have been a long-time off-Hill subscriber and still like the physical newspaper in my hand to read.  I am no longer billed for the subscription, but would be happy to at least pay for the mailing cost.

I appreciate that it is a challenge for the Town Crier (as well as my home paper the Orange County Register) to even stay in business these days, but I still like reading the physical newspaper. I’m on the computer for work and don’t want to have to be on it (or my phone or iPad) when I want to relax with the newspaper.

Just giving you my opinion as your requested in your column.

I appreciate the good work and an interesting paper to read.
