A. No, I don’t. But if you’re going to wear one, wear it with the pleats facing up. That way they’ll catch all the cracker and cookie crumbs that would otherwise fall on the floor, which would be embarrassing.
Q. How do you tie a bow tie? –Gerald, Escondido.
A. I used to tie my own, but I don’t any more. They twisted around and needed adjusting all the time. So I found one made of heavy, molded plastic. It never changes shape. You can order one from Texaco, they have crates of them in a warehouse somewhere.
