Last week in “The Days of Our Nine Lives,” the cats continued to talk about how ARF dogs are finding forever families, but sadly the cats aren’t having the same good luck. Olivia: So, MJ, what is it about you dogs that have humans snapping you up so quickly? MJ: I guess it’s because we’re…
By Valentina Plata Student Editor’s note: This column will be published periodically and is written by Environmental Studies students of Idyllwild Arts Academy team teachers Gary Gray and Chris Wegemer. A paradise can be defined as a magical, snowy forest or maybe a peaceful beach. I grew up in Cancun living near the clear blue…

He received his doctorate from Idaho State University in 1979. Since then, he spent the next 30 years working on large-mammal predator-prey ecology in the western U.S. and northern Mexico. Editor: Obviously, she’s one of those people who throw around “facts” without documentation. Her remarks regarding photos of both suspected and convicted criminals depicted in stories in the Town Crier are, at best, pointless. To question the Town Crier’s motives is, to me, insinuating that the paper is biased toward black people. Her basis was…

Among other things, my hope is that we don’t end up with a commander in chief who suggests we no longer have ethnic restaurants. Given the diversity of the U.S. population, our choice in foods is amazing….

AMR and Cal Fire paramedics have consistently engaged my family with professionalism, objectivity and a caring attitude. They are trained by the best. I am especially pleased with in-home health monitoring now offered by AMR. It is…
Editor: I was surprised while viewing the paper online, turning to page 2, featured prominently at the top of the page, a large photo of a young man named Nasir David Powell, 18, an IAA student. Article by Jack Clark indicated Powell is charged with five felony sexual counts. May I say clearly, I definitely…
