The opening game was between the Idyllwild Professional Cleaning Service Ninja Strikers and the Rotary Raging Rivers. The Ninja Strikers Eduardo Lopez was kicking the ball all over the field and played great for his team. The Raging Rivers’ Finneas Carpenter played great defense and was awesome for his team. At Saturday’s cross-counrty race at Mt. Carmel, the Hemet High School boys did very well. The Idyllwild contingent, all sophomores, display their medals. The runners and their places are Tanner Torrez (36), Jayden Emerson (6), Nick Browen (72) and Chad Schelly (44). Hemet was sixth overall out of 25 schools throughout Riverside and San Diego counties.
