The Associates of Idyllwild Arts Foundation are pleased to present the Virtual Holiday Gathering from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12 via Zoom at https://idyllwildarts.zoom.us/j/96510131801.
Not able to safely gather in person, we are taking the party to you via Zoom. All Associates members, plus members of the community, can safely sit at home with their beverage of choice, visit with friends old and new, learn what is happening at Idyllwild Arts, listen to a celebrity reading of “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” enjoy holiday and jazz favorites from a popular Jazz in the Pines performer and participate in a live auction to find a special holiday gift.
And do not forget the Virtual Ugly Christmas Sweater contest. The winners’ photographs will be submitted to the Town Crier for bragging rights.
The event is free and open to all. This holiday season, the Associates want to spread cheer and goodwill, so please invite your family and friends. While there is no charge, the donation page will be open at www.associatesofiaf.org.
Pamela Jordan, Idyllwild Arts Foundation president, will give an update on Spring 2021 at Idyllwild Arts Academy.
There will be a celebrity reading of “Twas the Night Before Christmas” by Wendie Malick and Dan Lauria. Both of these stars of stage, screen and theater have many credits to their names.
Popular Jazz in the Pines singer Rose Mallett will join the gathering to sing a few holiday favorites plus her jazz classics.
The Associates’ own auctioneer Patrick Reitz will lead a small auction.
There are a few more surprises and artists, so watch the Facebook page and www.associatesofiaf.org.
