Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” ARF cats discussed the new normal for ARF.

Zeus:  I’m getting pretty tired of all the quiet around here.

Lulu:  I think all of us are and so are the ARF humans.

Whiskers: But I bet we will see humans once they are allowed to meet the kittens.

Flora: That will be very strange for me. These babies really tire me, but at the same time, I will really miss them once they are in their forever homes.

Whiskers: Flora, be certain to be as cute as possible when the humans come to meet your babies. Because there are more potential forever families than there are kittens, one of the humans who doesn’t get a kitten just might want to adopt you!

Flora: So true!

Pepper: But I’ve heard you won’t have to try too hard. ARF folks can’t say enough about how sweet and friendly you are.

Zeus: Aren’t we all?

Pepper: With the right forever families, you bet we are!

Bear: How does a potential adopter meet us or the kittens with this Stay-at-Home thing happening?

Pepper: ARF is being very, very careful and wants to be certain everyone is safe. So, anyone wanting to meet one of us needs to make a special appointment to do so.

Bear: I’ve noticed that the ARF House hasn’t been open to the public.

Whiskers: That is correct, but the ARF humans are still checking phone messages many times each day.

Pepper: They are still engaged with the public and willing to help however they are able.

Lulu: I’ve heard that they will help provide pet food for families who are in a financial crunch.

Whiskers: If the guardians of a pet need dog or cat food, they just need to call ARF and make arrangements for pick-up.

Lulu: I heard that ARF will continue to do this as long as they possibly can.
