The CSA 38 Advisory Committee has called an emergency meeting for 4 p.m., tomorrow, Friday, June 15. The committee will meet in the Pine Cove Water District conference room.
The subject is to discuss and compile a list of questions for Mr. Barton, Riverside Countyt EMS Agency as a follow-up to the public meeting of June 13 regarding ambulance service to Pine Cove.
Barton discussed three options with the Committee, including renewing the existing contract at $32,300 (total cost of $128, 350) or $24,200 annually for a multi-year contract and the cost would increase 4 percent annually. In addition the costs of service and transport would increase.
