Sadie

Last week in Days of Our Nine Lives, the ARF cats welcomed Audrey into their cattery.

George: Well, what did you think of the Super Bowl?

Sadie: Didn’t watch it.

George: How about you, Bobbie?

Bobbie: I watched the Puppy Bowl instead.

Audrey: I watched the Kitten Bowl. How about you, George?

George: (inching toward Audrey) I watched all three, you know, flipping channels. But I would have rather watched you, Audrey.

Bobbie: Oh good grief. George, Audrey is still getting acclimated to her new home. Give her some space!

Pepper: Audrey is a little shy right now, but when she finds a human she likes, she is super snuggly.

Audrey: Well, I do like most all humans, but you’re right, Pepper. I’m shy.

Pepper: That’s to be expected, being in a new home.

Bobbie: George, now that I’m the new office cat, I’m not around to keep an eye on you. Pepper, you make certain George gives Audrey some time to feel comfortable.

Audrey: Aw, that’s okay, Bobbie. He’s harmless.

George: That’s right. Audrey, would you like to dine with me tonight?

Pepper: George…

George: Pepper, you’re being pretty assertive now.

Pepper: Well, maybe. I’m just very comfortable here, with cats and humans.

Bobbie: As long as everything is under control here, I’m heading back out to the office. Gotta keep an eye out for visiting potential forever families.

Pepper: Please be on the lookout for mine!

George: And mine too, please.

Bobbie: I’m watching out for all of you. We all need forever homes.

Will Audrey come out of her shell? Will Pepper be a good chaperone? Be sure to keep up with the animal antics of Days of our Nine Lives each week.  And please stop in to say hello to the entire adoptable cast at the ARF House, 26890 Hwy 243 on Saturdays 10-4 and Sundays 10-2, or by appointment M – F by calling 951-659-1122.
