According to USFS PIO Kate Kramer, we can thank the Southridge, Westridge and Shady fuel breaks for keeping the Cranston Fire from burning Idyllwild.
The fire is traveling east. A Type 1 Incident Command Team is being set up near Lake Hemet by 6:00 p.m. Thursday.
