Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” new ARF cat Lucky was introduced to all the cats.
Lucky: I am so glad to meet all of you. You look very happy and content here. But why is there a kitten here? Shouldn’t he be adopted by now?
Atlas: Right? One would think. I am absolutely adorable.
Lucky: Have humans come to see you yet?
Phil: It’s been fairly quiet in here, especially this last weekend.
Atlas: A few have stopped by, but no one who is yet serious.
Phil: If humans only realized that we cats are so easy.
Harley: Easy, yes! We ask for so little.
Candy: Just some attention, a lap, food, water and a safe place to lay our heads at nap time.
Atlas: True, but being a kitten I require a little more attention. I just love to play.
Phil: Most of us also like to play, but of course not to the extent of a kitten.
Don: I sincerely believe this is the friendliest group of cats we’ve ever had here at ARF.
Phil: No one will ever realize this unless they come in to meet us.
Cuddles: I just want a lap to sleep on. That’s all. Oh, wait, and someone to give me love and affection.
Don: That could be a description for many of us.
Lucky: Yep, either loving and affectionate, or playful and fun.
Atlas: Or both!
Pepper: Anything just about anyone could want.
