The Idyllwild Nature Center is planning its annual Wildflower and Art Festival for Memorial Day weekend.
The event includes guest speakers, naturalist-led walks, native plant sales, vendors, children’s crafts, more than 100 wildflowers identified and on display, art and more.
Local artist Gerry High will lead a wildflower art demonstration and children’s workshop. Bea Torrez will give a native food demonstration and tastings.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 28 and 29. The cost is $4 per adult, $3 per child and $1 per dog.
