Last week in “The Days of Our Nine Lives,” ARF cats were talking about how to convince humans that adult cats are just as great as kittens.

Peppermint Patty: Attention! Attention! I am now the only kitten in this cattery!

Bill: Have you forgotten about little Lucy?

Peppermint Patty: No, I haven’t, Bill. It’s just that she went to a forever home on Sunday. So I guess you adult cats rp_bill-beret-1-150x150.jpgwill have to play with me now.

Bill: I’ll play with you, no problem. Just don’t bother Bobbie.

Leia: Have all of you met Dovey?

Bobbie: I have. She’s pretty quiet and has the most beautiful green eyes I’ve ever seen.

Bill: How did Dovey end up at ARF?

Bobbie: Her forever mom passed away, so now she needs a new forever family.

Peppermint Patty: Do you think she’d like to play with me? I’ll share my toys.

Bill: Oh, Patty, I think she needs some time to get comfortable here with all of us. She seems to be replacing Leia as

the office cat.

Leia: Yea, she is. But it’s OK. I kind of have fun with all you guys here in the cattery. I think Dovey will really enjoy

meeting and greeting the humans in the ARF office.

Peppermint Patty: Playing in the office is fun. Lucy and I played there all weekend, meeting lots of very nice humans. They played with us and gave us lots of love.

Bobbie: And now Lucy will have that love every single day, forever.

Leia: Lucky Lucy. But I’m not giving up hope! I know the right family will come to ARF and find me.

Bill: And me.

Bobbie: And me.

Peppermint Patty: And me, too.

How long will these ARF cats wait for their forever families? Be sure to keep up with the animal antics of “The Days of our Nine Lives” each week. And please stop in to say hello to the entire adoptable cast at the ARF House, 26890 Hwy. 243 on Saturdays 10-4 and Sundays 10-2, or by appointment M-F by calling 951-659-1122.

Creature Corner is sponsored in Coyote Red’s and Chena.
