July 25, my husband dropped off a prescription to be filled. They said it would be ready in the afternoon.

We were told to evacuate less than two h ours later.

My husband called to see if we could get it on our way out of town and they said yes. They waited for us.

Those ladies stayed at the pharmacy so we could get my medication and we think they are special, wonderful people for putting their customers first. That’s exactly why we moved here 15 years ago.

People who live here are a part of something very wonderful and a bit old-fashioned — a caring community.
