Zeus

Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” ARF cats discussed the new litter of kittens.

Zeus: Wow. That was a busy Saturday.

Bear:  There were quite a few humans here, but they didn’t visit with me.

Lulu:  It was the kittens. Everyone wants to see the kittens!

Whiskers: Well, it worked. All but one is adopted.

Zeus: I hear there is only a male tabby still looking for a forever home.

Whiskers: And because he is as cute as his siblings, he will be gone fast.

Lulu: Most likely. Any human interested in a super cute kitten had better call ARF right away.

Whiskers: It was also busy yesterday at the nail trim clinic.

Sadie: No kidding! It was packed solid from 8:30 a.m. til 4 p.m. It was kind of like Sadie’s Clinic earlier in June.

Pepper: I guess it is safe to say that humans should call ARF right away for several reasons: the kitten and the next Sadie’s and nail trim clinics.

Zeus: With the COVID situation, things are kind of hectic. I guess that’s why the clinics were so crowded.

Pepper: And what about dogs? Are there any for adoption right now?

Zeus: Not at this very moment, but that doesn’t mean a whole lot. Dogs always seem to be showing up when we least expect them.

Pepper: And the dogs that have come to ARF have been adopted so quickly.

Lulu: I think humans realize that having a loving four-legged friend in the home helps with their stress and anxiety.

Bear: It is a win-win for all involved. The pet gets a loving family, and the family gets some much-needed relief.
