Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” ARF dogs and cats longed to be adopted.

Panther: Things were rather quiet in the ARF House last weekend.

Panther

Freda: But things were pretty festive at the beer festival.  I was there!

Panther: Lucky! Guess you didn’t find your forever home.

Freda: No, sadly, but there was some interest in me. I’m really the perfect family member, you know. I’m house-trained, use a doggy door, and am really good with cats and other dogs.

Jax

Jax: So am I!

Zoe

Zoe: And me, too!

Pepper: Those kittens are so adorable. Have you seen them?

Mr. Gray: I have. They are so playful and entertaining.

Jax: I think anyone who sees them will not be able to resist taking one home.

Panther: Three of them look alike, almost like triplets.

Zoe: But their personalities are all unique.

Jax: Just as ours are. Zoe, you and I are so personable. I am at a loss as to why we haven’t yet found our forever families.

Zoe: No kidding! We are very affectionate and playful.

Mr. Gray

Sadie

Sadie: You are, but those little kittens have you beat in the playful category.  They are a non-stop barrel of fun.

Jax: Isn’t that how they’re supposed to be?

Sadie: Yes, and for humans who are not looking for constant kitten energy, there are us eight adult ARF cats. We will offer love and affection, without the kitten antics.

Zoe: So, in other words, there is a dog or cat that will be a perfect fit for any household.

Sadie: Right!
