Traffic collision starts holiday

At approximately 5 p.m., Tuesday,July 3, the California Highway Patrol and Idyllwild Fire Department responded to a traffic collision on South Circle Drive and near Daryll Road. The vehicle appeared to run into a power pole. The cause of the crash was being investigated. The Idyllwild Fire Department transported two people to a hospital. Edison responded to the scene to check the condition of the power pole.
