Our Pine Cove Property Owners Association has a current membership of about 700 residents. At the recent July 7 PCPOA meeting, the proposed combination of the three Idyllwild-area water districts was discussed.

In a report presented by Jerry Holldber, manager of the Pine Cove Water District, PCWD customers were previously polled for their opinion. Please note that 80 percent of Pine Cove residents replied “no” to combining the three water districts.

Holldber relayed the negative response to the Idyllwild Water District.

Pine Cove is a small community with a majority of home-owning residents and just a few businesses. Due to Southern California’s on-going drought, we are currently at Stage 2 and work diligently at conserving our precious water.

We believe that PCWD has managed Pine Cove’s limited water resources in an excellent manner and in the best interests of our residents.
