Injured dirt biker airlifted to hospital

On Sunday, April 14, several local agencies were involved in the rescue of a dirt biker in Pine Cove.
The accident happened on the San Jacinto Ridge Truck Trail. Firefighters were unable to reach the injured biker; consequently they requested air support.
Cal Fire helicopter 301 was able to hoist the party, with moderate injuries, off the mountainside and transferred them to a waiting Mercy Air helicopter for transport to a local hospital
