Whiskers

Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” the ARF cats learned about recent cat adoptions.
Fern: As the official ARF office cat, until I’m adopted of course, I am ready to share recent news.
Stevie: We love hearing the latest. Spill the info, Fern!
Fern: The precious kitten Clover has found his forever home.
Rosemary: Aw, that’s great. He is a cute kitten, as are his siblings Saffron and Tonka.
Pepper: Are they still here?
Rosemary: Unbelievable, yes!
Fern: So, we need to lure in humans to meet these kittens and us.
Stevie: Even though the weather is so very warm, the ARF House has air conditioning, so visitors will be comfortable.
Pepper: And I heard the rumor that ARF has a new dog. Anyone know anything about him?
Tonka: I do! I do! Right now, he is with fosters who are working hard to help him get into great shape to be adopted.
Saffron: What does that mean?
Tonka: He is a sweet boy who was living life on the streets with a homeless man. A caring person talked this person into surrendering him. Clearly, the homeless man cared more about the dog than himself and wanted the best for his dog.
Whiskers: What else?
Tonka: The little dog is being called Oliver. He first went to a groomer and then to a veterinarian. His last trip was to the ARF foster. The poor boy was a matted mess and is terribly underweight. But he must have been very loved and socialized, as he is so affectionate and well behaved.
Stevie: When will he be ready for adoption?
Tonka: Soon. He needs to gain a little weight. Interested potential may contact ARF for more information.
Fern: Again, ARF has a furry family member for everyone!
