Third District Supervisor Jeff Stone was in Idylwild Friday for his monthly meetings and used some of the time to official break the ground on the new Idyllwild Library.
"This is a very exciting day for me and for you in Idyllwild," Stone said.
Everyone was very pleased with the plans for the new library. From Stone to the Friends of the Idylwild Libary, gratitude was bestowed on Natalia Brown, EDA's project manager, the architect and now the contractor, Grant Hamel.
"We got exactly what we wanted," said Adele Voell, of the Friends.
